The Cherish the Child Awards Reception provides The CAC with the opportunity to thank the generous donors and supporters who are dedicated to not only helping improve the lives of sexually abused children, but also reducing the number of children who are victims. The CAC recognizes the hard work and dedication of these exceptional supporters with the presentation of the Humanitarian Awards. These awards were chartered in 2004 in honor of Susan Penn French and Carroll Robertson Ray who played a large part in establishing The Children’s Assessment Center. The CAC hosted the 9th Annual Cherish the Child Awards Reception this past April.
9th Annual Cherish the Child Awards Reception
The Children’s Assessment Center Foundation’s Cherish the Child Awards Reception was held on April 25, 2012. The 2012 Humanitarian Awards Recipients honored at this year’s reception were: Dan and Susan Boggio, H-E-B and Carrie Sturges. Each of these recipients has demonstrated a commitment to The CAC and the children we serve through their generous contributions and advocacy. Also in attendance were the Annunciation Orthodox School student winners of The CAC Capital Campaign Art Contest. The student’s artwork was displayed at the reception and awards were given to each winner in attendance. It was an enjoyable evening honoring the Humanitarian Awards Recipients, AOS students and all groups and individuals for their support of The CAC and work to help child victims of abuse throughout the year.
