DESCRIPTION:Street Art for Mankind (SAM) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that strongly believes in the power of Art to trigger social change. With the support of over 80 prominent international street artists\, SAM curates and produces large murals\, interactive exhibitions\, and live performances worldwide to bond communities and generations around human rights. \nOn Saturday\, October 15th Street Art for Mankind will unveil nine murals from local and international artists around Downtown Houston\, each with a different theme. The idea is to connect these murals with an aligning local non-profit organization. \nEach mural will have a QR code that links to Street Art for Mankind’s app that provides the following: \n\nthe muralist speaking about their piece\nlinks to local non-profits\, so users can contribute and get involved.\n\nThis year\, The CAC will be in attendance representing the “Human Rights” theme. Visit us at the Human Rights mural to learn more about how the muralist’s vision aligns with our mission!
