Holiday Toy Drive
At The Children’s Assessment Center (The CAC), we believe the welfare of children and their best interests should be society’s first priority. The CAC’s mission is to provide a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and to serve as an advocate for all children in our community. Our primary goal is to provide services that meet the needs of our clients as it relates to their abuse, but we also hope to meet their childhood needs. Every holiday season, individuals and corporations ensure this special time of the year will be filled with joyful memories for the children we serve. Please join us as we work to provide gifts to the nearly 5,000 children served by The CAC this year.
There are several ways to help!
Host or Donate to our Toy Drive
Unfortunately, many of the children served by The CAC will not experience the joy of the season without your support. Providing gifts to our children is one way we can ease the trauma of sexual abuse. Last December, we helped provide holiday gifts to over 2,000 children receiving services. If you are interested in donating a new, unwrapped toy or hosting a toy drive, contact Danielle Igbani at Danielle.igbani@cac.hctx.net.
Harris County Sheriff’s Department Toy Delivery
Every year the Sheriff’s Office delivers an 18 wheeler full of toys. We need your help to unload the truck and organize packages to distribute to staff.
