Every year, we are able to provide the children we serve a backpack and school supplies. We provide bags to children to empower them with the tools necessary to have a great school year and ease this financial burden during their healing process. Last year, with the support of community and volunteers, we were able to stuff over 800 backpacks.
2026 Spirit of Summer Volunteer Events, July 30 – August 5.
Our Spirit of Summer volunteer events involve a variety of hands-on activities, including stuffing backpacks with school supplies, decorating for the party, and helping host the event for the children. Volunteers play an essential role in making the day fun, welcoming, and memorable for every child who attends.
