30 Years of Hope and Healing: The CAC’s Legacy

For three decades, The Children’s Assessment Center has been a pillar of support for child survivors of sexual abuse and their families in Houston. The CAC has remained steadfast in its mission to provide professional, compassionate, and coordinated services, ensuring that every child who walks through our doors receives the care, justice, and healing they deserve.

As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we reflect on the impact of our work—thousands of lives changed, stories of resilience, and a community united in the fight to protect children. This milestone is not just about our past, but about our future. Together, we continue to build a safer, stronger Houston for the next generation.

As we celebrate three decades of service to Houston’s children and families, we invite you to join us for a special press conference this February 26th. Community leaders, partners, and CAC representatives will come together to reflect on our history, highlight the ongoing fight against child abuse, and share our vision for the future.

Thank you for being part of our mission to protect and heal children and families in our community.
