At The Children’s Assessment Center, community outreach and education are vital to preventing abuse, supporting survivors, and connecting families to critical resources. We’re proud to partner with schools, nonprofits, businesses, and individuals across Harris County to build safer communities for children—and we invite you to get involved.
Outreach & Education
Our Outreach team offers free, trauma-informed presentations tailored to a range of audiences, including, but not limited to:
- Schools and youth-serving organizations
- Faith communities
- Civic and neighborhood groups
- Businesses and professional associations
Topics include child sexual abuse prevention, online safety, mandated reporting, how The CAC supports healing through a coordinated multidisciplinary approach, and more.
