Giving at The CAC

We cannot do the critical work of protecting children, healing families, and preventing child sexual abuse on our own.  Consistent support is critical to preserving our mission and enabling The CAC to evolve with changing client needs and program innovation. Learn how you can be a part of the solution to end child sexual abuse and sex trafficking in our community.

The CAC’s Lighting the Path members provide The CAC with flexible and consistent funding to ensure each child and family has access to our essential services. Commit to be a part of lighting the path toward healing and prevention.

You can sponsor or underwrite a fundraising or children’s event at The CAC to help raise awareness about child sexual abuse and fund our essential services.

A planned legacy gift will significantly impact The CAC’s ability to enhance the safety, healing, and well-being of the children and families we serve. Planned giving can reduce your current taxes, limit potential capital gains, and/or save you inheritance taxes.

  • Charitable bequest in your will
  • Insurance policies or retirement plan beneficiary
  • Charitable remainder or lead trusts
  • Appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or real estate

Encourage your employees to utilize your matching gift program. Together, you can double the impact your employees and company have on child sexual abuse survivors and their families.

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is an account that offers a uniquely flexible way to manage your charitable giving. If you have contributed to a DAF, you can make a recommendation for the sponsoring organization to administer a grant to The Children’s Assessment Center Foundation from your account.

The CAC is a 501(c)(3) organization, tax ID 76-0458780. Learn about our financials here.

Together, we can create a safer, healthier community for all children. To learn more about how you can give, contact Cassi Donovan, Development Manager, at cassi.donovan@cac.hctx.net or (713) 986-3502.
