Every year, we are able to give the children we serve a backpack, school supplies, and new uniforms. We provide bags to children to empower them with the tools necessary to have a great school year and ease family stressors during their recovery. We need your help to stuff backpacks and support children healing from sexual abuse.

Last year, we stuffed over 900 backpacks for the children we serve! We had over 60 community volunteers participate, including Spindletop Community Impact Partners, Inc, Cox Media Group, and Houston Young Lawyer’s Association (HYLA).
We also brought back our Back-to-School Party to kick-start the academic year in a fun and exciting way! We had over 65 community volunteers lead the activities and distribute backpacks to the children receiving services at The CAC. Our volunteers included Spindletop Community Impact Partners, , UT Health, HCA Healthcare, and Frost Bank.
