The Harris County Child Sex Trafficking Protocols initially began with guidance from the Governor’s office in 2016. At this time the Governor’s office established a large 45-member multidisciplinary team to address the human trafficking crisis throughout the state. This evolved into the localized Harris County Child Sex Trafficking (CST) Team of professionals who currently provide guidance and direction pertaining to child sex trafficking cases via:
- CST Advisory Council and
- CST Care Coordination
