The Children’s Services Department includes the Activity Center, Volunteer/Intern Program, The Rainbow Room, various art activities and gift and clothing donation drives.
The Children’s Services Department hosts the Annual Back to School Party, the Children’s Annual Holiday Party and many summer and annual holiday activities. The CAC’s on-site Activity Center, which is staffed by four CAC staff members as well as specially trained volunteers and interns, provides a safe haven for children while awaiting services or during a lengthy investigation of alleged abuse. In addition, the department provides basic needs of food, clothing and toiletries for children as needed.
The CAC enjoys working with many active volunteers who, following extensive background checks, have been trained to facilitate and coordinate these direct services to child victims and their families.
We kindly request that all toy and clothing donations be new or gently used.
